From Warm Up To Rehabilitation, Power Plate’s Advanced Vibration TechnologyKicks Up Training for World-Class Players in Ultimate Soccer Competition Taking Place in South Africa

Irvine, Calif. (June 11, 2010) – During the most-watched sporting event in the world, elite soccer players from 32 different countries will have their skills and fitness tested in pursuit of soccer’s holy grail.  During each match they will run an average of six miles over 90 minutes with no time outs and will face grueling competition through the month-long tournament.  It will all take place on the grandest world stage ever viewed on TV: more than 700 million people.  Every moment of training leading up to the world championship games is critical, which is why the top teams utilize state-of-the-art fitness technologies like Power Plate.

As England primes to face the U.S. in the countries’ first match on June 12th, top players like English national goalkeeper David James are preparing with Power Plate exercise.  “Playing regularly in the English Premiership is very demanding and as a goalkeeper I need to be at the peak of my physical fitness.  The Power Plate machine adds a new dimension to my training,” says James.
